Obtaining an injunction to prevent noise nuisance by a restaurant
Advising a landlord of a mixed use development when a bar / restaurant on the ground floor caused substantial noise nuisance to the leaseholders on the upper floors. We obtained an emergency injunction to restrain the noise and this was upheld at the subsequent trial in the High Court

On behalf of a commercial landlord, recovering a six figure sum for rent arrears from a well-known pub chain who had refused to pay any rent during the coronavirus pandemic
Advising a home owner on his NHBC claim
Advising a home owner on his claim against the National House Building Council (NHBC) for faulty works on his new build property. The NHBC had made an initial offer but this was increased by £100,000 after our involvement and our client was happy to accept this revised offer.
Successful pursuit of freeholder’s claims against a long leaseholder
Advising the freehold owner of a block of flats in respect of various unsustainable claims made by a leaseholder. The matter proceeded through to a trial at which the freeholder was successful. We then obtained an order for costs and enforced that order by obtaining possession and selling the leaseholder’s flat.
